Summer afternoon

This is a video from this summer.

Me diving at Abiquiu - in slow motion

Me diving at Abiquiu - double speed (for some reason I tried to put a video of me diving at regular speed and google keeps doubling the speed?) It's a very curious phenomenon.

Me doing a back flip at Abiquiu - at regular speed.

where did you keep your kirpan when swimming? is it wrapped in your kesh?

My kirpan is sarbloh, so it would get rusted in the lake. Plus it's too dangerous to jump off these cliffs wearing a kirpan. My kirpan was in my backpack. When I was jumping off the higher cliffs, as I hit the water one of my two karas hit the back of my hand and bruised me for a week, so I have to wear a smaller kara also. Sometimes I braid my hair, but this time I tied it in the back and wore a patka. The patka kept my hair out of my face really well, but my hair came loose. I think the best is to combine the two methods. Braid your hair and wear a patka over your braided hair. Everything will be really neat like that.

That does look like a lot of fun. I would not think twice about doing such things even though I don’t know how to swim! I just got my new years resolution, learn how to swim. I don’t think a lot of Sikhs go swimming or diving because of the long hair but I just can’t give up on an opportunity like that.

Sumandeep Singh Ji, since I didn't get to visit you when I was in DC, maybe you can visit me and I can take you to this location (after you learn how to swim of course :-)
And to anybody else who reads this, as always everybody's welcome to come visit anytime.
