Sat Shri Akal Prabhu Singh Ji,

I am sending you a link that friend of mine sent me. I am sikh who beleives in SGGSJ but my friend is a Naamdhari Sikh from India. He sent me a link to prove that after Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Guru Granth was not the Guru of Sikhs but it was a Guru Balak Singh. I am very ordianary sikh and I don't have enough knowledge to defend my help. I am seeking help from my KHALSA brother. I also emailed Gurumustak Singh today. Please consult this with your fellow friends there. I also see that SUKHA singh is there, so is Kamalsaroop singh ji. Please help me with it. Link is:http://www.sikh-heritage.co.uk/research/Guru%20Death/Death%20of%20GGSPg3.htm Thank you so much !! Gurfateh

Mohinder Singh, it is probably not worth your time to argue with NaamDharis. They have access to the truth as we do, and they believe otherwise. That is their choice, however we should still try to get along with them and show compassion as we would to all other people of this Earth.
The truth that the NaamDharis have access to is the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Although they don't refer to the Granth as Guru, they acknowledge it to be the writings of the Gurus. In this way they show a contradiction in their beliefs because it says in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib 'Bani Guru, Guru Hai Bani.' Guru Nanak's Guru was the word (bani) and Guru Gobind Singh gave the throne of Nanak back to the word (bani).
Even Baba Ram Singh Ji tried to tell the NaamDharis that the Siri Guru Granth Sahib is the Guru:

Kamalroop Singh Ji told me that one of his relatives from around the time of his great grandfather was a NaamDhari and he believed in the Granth as the Guru. Somewhere in the NaamDhari movement corruption came in and changed the fundamentals. The British interfered with several movements and jethas which has lead to a number of divisions today. Also the Indian Government has done many attacks on Sikhs.
Another point is that Guru Gobind Singh created the Khalsa Panth, created the Sikh Nation, and gave us the world as our kingdom. He was one with God and all Sikhs bowed to him. If there was anyone alive today that had the same capacity as Guru Gobind Singh, we, the Sikhs, would know.
You can make the above points to your friend, however I doubt he'll change the fundamentals of his beliefs. I would rather get along with NaamDharis then argue a point which will never convince each other.

That link that you showed me has a lot of inaccuracies. One of the most blatant that stands out immediately is the following statement:
"A staunch Sikh like the Maharaja would have never have seated himself on a settee, which would have dishonoured the "GURU Granth" - if it was indeed "The Guru"."
Maharaja Ranjeet Singh was not a "staunch Sikh" he did all sorts of things that Sikhs wouldn't do. He even presented himself at the Akal Takht for punishment for the 'un-Sikh' acts that he committed.

Prabhu Singh Ji,
Thank you so much. Not that I belevied even for a second what I my friend presented me but I wanted some text to show him like he showed me. Thank you so much for the link you provided. You are my favorite guy like Gurumustak Singh. I do get along fine with my friend. He is really a very nice human being but he follows different rules and I follow Guru Granth Sahib Ji. I am sikh of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. I also got some help from www.sikhmarg.com. They sent me a link as well and It was really well explained how Baba Ram Singh Ji tried to explain that Guru Granth Was the true Guru and He himself was in awe of Ten Masters. It was really interesting article. If you can read punjabi than I can send it to you. It is really nice. Thank you veere.. Maybe coming december we will meet during winter solistice. Please keep some space for me in your apartment. I don't mind living in any neibhourhood(spelled wrong). I really want to learn a lot from you prabhu singh ji. You offered me place during last winter solistice but I was going to India during that time. SO I could not come. But if Guru is willing I will meet you guys coming winter. Until then WaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa||WaheGuru Ji KI Fateh||

Mohinder Singh Ji,
I don't actually remember talking with you about the Winter Solstice, because I was actually in India during that time last year as well. The Winter solstice camp is held in Florida since it is really cold and we usually have snow during that time here in EspaƱola. I'm not sure I'm going this year either. If you want to come visit EspaƱola you are welcome to come and stay with me. I don't actually remember any earlier contact between us? Since I get a lot of email I forget sometimes who's who and who said what. I'll search my emails to try and remember.
I'm happy that you have found some answers to your questions and that you are able to get along with your Naamdhari friend despite differences in beliefs.
WaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa, WaheGuru Ji Ki Fateh!

Hi Prabhu,

I actually left a message in comments areas on Gurumustak's blog, where I asked for some help coming to summer solistice not winter. My bad. You left a message unger comments place that you have room for one or tow guys but no single girls. You also said, if family you can provide some space to living. it was just small talking that took place at Gurumustak's blog. I never emailed you personally. But I leave you comments once 'n while. Remember I asked you once, if you ever used your SHASHTERS? Because you dressup fully prepared and I asked if ever the sisuation arrived where you used to wanted to use your SHASHTERS. Anyway, God Bless you! WaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa|| WaheGuru Ji Ki fateh||
