Guru Ghar - Hacienda de Guru Ram Das

The home of the Guru, Guru Ram Das' estate, my beloved home, the sacred valley.

Oh God, how can I ever forget you?
What a fool I can be to act untrue.
In times of dukh we cry out in need.
WaheGuru, this is your deed.

If all was Sukh, we could forget,
thinking in life that we are set,
with or without you,
while acting untrue.

This would be the highest tragedy,
to forget your name, to act badly.
Instead we know that without you, there is no sukh.
Until we remember you always there will be dukh.

Thank you for what you have bestowed upon us,
Everything is your sweet will, in God we trust.

Great poem! Thank God for blogs so people can share their feelings and thoughts. It is like public notice boards or public kiosks in China and other countries where people read news.
