Balwinder's super cute niece Harleen Kaur and her older brother Sukhanjot Singh.
The night before the wedding was the ladies' sangeet, which is now like a party for everybody. This is a picture of that event.
Balwinder and his cousins. They were holding this cloth above his head but I don't know why. Then they put it on his head and everybody was feeding him laddu.

Holy cow.

hi prabhu,

Nice to hear that u are enjoying your trip to India. First of all i wanna to introduce myself, i am cousin of balwinder residing in Australia (nickname=Mani). I really appreciate u for posting photos of my cousin. i wanna to tell u about ritual of holding a cloth on the top of the broom i.e. in the case of balwinder. It is a type of a tradition which is followed in indian weddings which is known as "shagun". Where everbody greets broom towards his wedding and feeds him with a treat of laddu as u know. I think so u must be enjoying the first experience of Wedding in india.
I always get amaze when i listen about u and your brother hari singh ji from my cousin as it enlighten my spirit and provides me with sense of pride that we are all enjoying the vardan(blessing) of sikhi. Thumbs Up to All of Us. Also Prabhu i am really looking forward to meet u and "All Guru Ke Singhs" in New Mexico whenever i planned my trip to USA.
Take care

Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh
